Senior Data Analyst

PurpleLab® Senior Data Analysts play a crucial role in supporting our client inquiries, data analysis, and pre-sales activities. This role is designed for a professional with substantial analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. The Senior Data Analyst will report directly to the VP, Customer Success and work closely with the Customer, Success, Technical Success and Solution Engineering, Sales and Product/Development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and research client inquiries related to healthcare data, interpretation and analytics.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely information to clients based on their requests.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to address and resolve data-related issues.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Utilize statistical tools and software to perform data analysis and generate reports.
  • Assist the Sales and Solution Engineer teams with customer count reports and other data-related requests during the pre-sales process.
  • Prepare and present data findings to support sales pitches and client meetings.
  • Work closely with the Product and Software Development teams to ensure deep understanding of PurpleLab data, methodologies and products.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to explain data findings and their implications.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance data capabilities and support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s  or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare or technology sector.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing complex data manipulations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
