Questions About Account, Subaccount and User Related Files
What are the different Files Users can upload into the PurpleLab platform?
Account, Subaccount and User Related Files include:
Zip to Territory “crosswalks”:
These file types contain crosswalks of 5 digit United States Post Office zip postal codes to a geographically assigned “territory”. Typically, territories would be sales territories assigned to Life Science user’s representatives or distributors or could be managed care service areas or network areas. Territories could also be competitive regions under which providers receive referrals from or the Dartmouth Atlas of Healthcare Regional Referral Areas (RRAs) or Hospital Service Areas (HSAs). The platform and reports cover Zip to Territory files that have embedded hierarchical levels up to 3 levels. For example, a User can upload a Zip to Territory “crosswalk” file that contains Zip to Territory (ID and Description or Label) plus District (ID and Description or Label) plus Region (ID and Description or Label) information or any combination.
HCP and HCO entity identifier “crosswalks”: Users may develop and maintain internal database identifiers as part of Master Data Management efforts for maintaining internal, user-based proprietary identifiers to industry standard identifiers for HCPs, HCO_Groups and HCO_Facilities. These internally derived and maintained crosswalks can be uploaded into the PurpleLab platform for use during project development and execution.
HCP NPI: User maintained crosswalks of Type 1 NPIs to internal proprietary identifiers that enumerate HCPs.
HCO_GRP PAC_ID: User maintained crosswalks of Type 2 NPIs to internal proprietary identifiers that enumerate HCO Group Practices.
HCO_FAC NPI: User maintained crosswalks of Type 2 NPIs to internal proprietary identifiers that enumerate HCO Facilities.
HCO_FAC POS: User maintained crosswalks of CMS Provider of Service (POS) identifiers to internal proprietary identifiers that enumerate HCO Facilities
Executed Non-Disclosure Agreement/Confidentiality Agreement (NDA/CDA): required for “Prospect” access to Pricing Calculator and Trial License. This is required for any User to initially access the platform.
Executed Terms of Service (i.e., “license”) Agreement. Required for any User to initially access the platform. This agreement spells out the terms of the Account, Sub-Account and User access levels to platform and data warehouse by Clinical, Geographical and Report parameters as well as the terms of the access.
NOTE: PurpleLab enables users to upload Account, Subaccount and User Related Files of these types into the PurpleLab platform. This enables users to perform Master Data Management functions of crosswalking their proprietary identifiers to industry standard identifiers for HCPs, HCO_Groups and HCO_Facilities as well as to assign territories to various location based reports udring the building and execution of projects. These functions are typically post-processing functions that need to be undertaken by business analysts or data management resources and are often out-sourced to a third party. PurpleLab makes it simple and easy to be performed right within the development and execution of projects.
