Director, TV Partnerships & Strategy

PurpleLab® is seeking  a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to help drive strategic partnerships within the rapidly evolving TV AdTech ecosystem. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking, results-driven professional with deep adtech and TV industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for advancing healthcare specific programmatic, data-driven, TV advertising solutions.

As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships with key stakeholders across the TV advertising landscape, including demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), measurement providers, identity partners, MVPDs, CTV partners, linear aggregators and  TV networks. Your expertise in the convergent TV and streaming (CTV/OTT) ecosystem will help expand our market presence, enhance monetization opportunities, and strengthen our AdTech integrations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy to expand our presence in the TV AdTech ecosystem, focusing on TV Networks, DSPs, SSPs, measurement/currency partners, and Identity providers.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partners to enhance the value of our TV ad solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead negotiations and structure complex deals with TV ecosystem partners
  • Manage ongoing relationships with key partners, ensuring seamless integration, collaboration, and business growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and engineering teams to drive the successful implementation of partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends in TV advertising, data-driven advertising, and programmatic technology to identify new opportunities and inform business strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build relationships and promote thought leadership.
  • Work with PurpleLab agency sellers to help drive demand for PurpleLab audience and measurement solutions.
  • Sell/embed our measurement solutions within the TV ecosystem (publishers, platforms, identity) 

 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances within the TV advertising, AdTech/digital media industry.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, CTV/OTT ecosystems, addressable TV, and AdTech platforms (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, CDPs, etc.).
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing partnerships that drive revenue and business growth.
  • Strong network within the TV and digital advertising industry, particularly with AdTech providers and media companies.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and partner capabilities to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with advanced audiences in TV advertising, attribution, audience measurement, and first-party data strategies.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising technologies, including auction dynamics, ad serving, and ad verification.
  • Prior experience at an AdTech company, TV network, streaming platform, or programmatic advertising firm.
