Director of Product Operations
The Director of Product Operations plays a critical role within our dynamic product team, driving processes, enhancing communication, and ensuring the seamless execution of our product release and communication strategy. This individual will also play a key role in streamlining product development lifecycles, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and maximizing operational efficiency across all product lines. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of RWD, RWE, DaaS, and SaaS offerings and a passion for driving operational
excellence in the healthcare data and analytics space.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Product Operations:
- Develop and implement standardized processes and workflows for product development, launch, and iteration.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for product specifications, release notes, and internal knowledge bases.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product development lifecycles, reduce time-to-market, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and other teams to ensure alignment on product priorities and roadmap execution.
- Manage product-related tools and technologies, ensuring effective utilization and integration into workflows.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration between Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
- Develop and implement communication strategies for product updates, releases, and internal knowledge sharing.
- Act as a liaison between Product and other departments, ensuring alignment on product-related initiatives and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Release Management:
- Assist in planning and coordinating product releases, ensuring all necessary documentation, training, and communication materials are in place.
- Track and monitor product releases, identifying any potential risks or issues and proactively addressing them.
- Gather and analyze post-release feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform future product development.
- Develop analytical solutions to support business needs (predictive analytics, healthcare commercial reports, outcomes research studies, etc.).
- Support Sales and Production teams as required, provide actionable insights. Work with non-technical personnel and translate general requirements into detailed specifications. Act as an advanced analytics internal consultant.
- Conduct unsupervised research on various healthcare topics from therapeutic areas to medications to industry classification systems, as necessary.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with healthcare data such as pharmacy and medical claims, EMR/EHR, or others is required.
- Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques and concepts (e.g., models selection, machine learning techniques) and experience working on real-world applications.
- Working knowledge of R, python, SAS or similar.
- Statistical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience in developing and presenting analyses of complex datasets coming from different sources.
- Ability to switch tasks as required, strong project management skills.
- Team player and a motivated self-starter.
- Bachelor of Science is required; an advanced degree in statistics, computer science, economics or another quantitative field is preferred.
