The Director of Product Management – Payer will play a critical role in driving the success of our payer-focused product portfolio. This role involves leading the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for solutions that address the unique needs of healthcare payers. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products align with market demands, drive customer satisfaction, and achieve business objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of the payer industry, healthcare data, and emerging trends in the market.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for payer-focused solutions.
- Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive assessments to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
- Translate market requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management:
- Lead the product development process, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and QA to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and iteration.
- Incorporate customer feedback and market analysis to drive continuous product improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to develop go-to-market strategies and support product adoption.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on product roadmap and priorities.
- Communicate product updates and roadmap changes effectively to relevant teams and stakeholders.
Market & Industry Expertise:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the payer space.
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert in payer-focused solutions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This role may include supervisory responsibilities depending on team structure and organizational needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, technology).
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on the payer market.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data, claims processing, and payer operations.
- Experience with RWD, RWE, SaaS, and DaaS offerings is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute product strategies aligned with business goals.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the payer industry and its evolving needs.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer value and experiences.
